Privacy notice

Before providing us with your Personal Data (“the Data”) it is recommended to read this Privacy Notice (“the notice”) in which you We inform, in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (“The Law”) and its Regulations (“the regulations”) on how and for what purposes we treat your personal information.

I. Person responsible for collecting Personal data. Responsible for the processing of your data is the company Universal Cargo, S.A. de C.V, with address located at Calle Oriente 172 No. 378, Colonia Moctezuma 2nd Secc. Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City, C.P. 15530.

II. Purpose of the Processing of Personal Data: The data obtained will be processed for the following purposes (the "purposes"): In the event that we celebrate with you an act related to any service offered by us, your Data will be treated to fulfill the obligations derived from that legal relationship; to contact you and send you information regarding the services provided; to maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards and even to share them with third parties involved with the services provided. If you provide us with your Data we will understand that you agree with the terms of this Notice, with these and other purposes of your treatment, as long as said purposes are compatible or analogous to the services provided, as well as the means and procedures that we put at your disposal to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition.

III. Acceptance of the Processing of Personal Data. We collect your personal data directly when you request the provision of our services to confirm and verify your identity, integrate your file and coordinate the contracted or agreed services. The data we obtain by this means can be, among others.  Name, nationality, address, Federal Taxpayers Registry (RFC), Unique Population Registration Code (CURP), emails and telephone numbers (local and cellular), official vouchers that prove your identity and personality. When applicable, if you do not express your opposition so that your data is treated in the terms indicated in this Notice, it will be understood that you have given your consent for it. The treatment of your Patrimonial Data such as: bank and interbank account numbers, and tax credit numbers, require in accordance with Article 8 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and 15 of its Regulations, of consent Express or in writing of the owner, because they are sensitive data and heritage content, so if they are provided it is understood that their treatment is authorized for the purposes contemplated in section II of this Privacy Notice.

IV. Limitation of the use or disclosure of your Personal Data. The protection of your Personal Data is guaranteed and they are protected by security, administrative, technical and physical measures to prevent their loss, alteration, destruction, use, access or disclosure. However, in case you want to limit the use of your Personal Data in relation to any of the Purposes of the Processing of Personal Data, you can send the respective request through the procedure established in section V of this Privacy Notice.

V. Resolution and Communication. The resolution relapsed to your request for Arco rights will be notified to the owner and / or legal representative, as appropriate, within a period not exceeding 20 business days from the date the request was received. This period may be extended only once for an equal period, provided that the circumstances of the case justify it. When the request is appropriate, it will be effective within 15 business days from the date on which the response is communicated to the holder and will be subject to the provisions of the Law.

VI. Change to the Privacy Notice. Our company reserves the right to make, at any time, modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice. If there is any modification to this Notice it will be made known on our Website or you can consult it at our address.

VIII. Transfer of Personal Data. The Data may be legally transferred for the purposes established in this Privacy Notice to other companies provided that any of the cases of articles 36 and 37 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data occurs.

IX. Complaints and complaints. If you consider that the right to protection of personal data has been injured or presumes that in your treatment there is a violation of the provisions in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, you may file a corresponding complaint or complaint with the INAI ( National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data).
